At Waldo International School, we believe that the early stages of life are crucial for emotional, social, cognitive, language and early literacy development. Our Early Years Program encompasses Infants, Toddlers and PreK 2, and is designed to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, connection, and growth. We prioritize each child’s individual needs while fostering strong relationships between children and our dedicated team of teachers.

Infant Program - Opening January 2025

Safety and Comfort: The infant classroom is specifically designed to meet all health and safety standards, where infants feel safe and cared for. Our low caregiver-to-child ratio (1:3) and small group size (9 infants) allows for personalized attention, ensuring each infant receives the care and support they need to thrive. Our infant room teachers are also trained in infant care, CPR, and first aid, and possess a deep understanding of child development. We also have a school nurse on staff.

Individualized Care: Each child’s care routines are tailored to meet the unique developmental needs and preferences of each child.

Developmental Milestones: Our infant curriculum is carefully thought out to help children reach physical, emotional, and cognitive milestones through age-appropriate activities and interactions.

Parental Partnership: We foster open communication with parents to ensure consistency between home and school environments. We encourage parents to participate in their child’s development through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and family events. A secure parent communication platform will keep families informed about daily activities, milestones, and important notices.

Waldo International School is dedicated to providing a loving and enriching environment where infants can explore, learn, and develop. With a focus on safety, individual care, and developmental support, we aim to lay a strong foundation for each child’s future learning and growth.
