Field Trips
We strive to provide our students with a well-rounded program, and as a result we also offer a variety of field trips throughout the school year. Field trips are designed to extend the learning that is occurring in the classrooms, and teachers look for every opportunity to bring student questions to the field. Students are able to learn from experts, and the real-life applications of their classroom experiences become profound. Some of our recent field trip visits include:
- Liberty Science Center
- Turtle Back Zoo
- Museum of Natural History in NYC
- Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC
- New York Hall of Science
- Liberty Hall Museum in Kean University
- Grounds for Sculpture
- Meadowlands Environmental Center
- The Newark Museum of Art
- Jersey City – City Hall
- Demarest Farms Pumpkin Picking
- Staten Island Children’s Museum
- Brooklyn Children’s Museum
- New York Botanical Garden
- Intrepid Museum
